Metaversal : Curators of the Metaverse for Restaurants

Play episode

Episode 62: As promised, today’s show is a discussion with Metaversal, the company behind bringing the Lil’ Mench NFT project to fruition and was onsite to help support the Menches Bros. team during their NFT minting party. While I was there, I was able to sit down some of the Metaversal team members including the CEO, the creative director and the project manager. Combined, this gave me the opportunity to learn more about the scope of what they do, what their vision is and how they are looking to help other small restaurant brands.

Originally aired on November 1st, 2022

Happening this week is the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Associations Show as well as the MURTEC Executive Summit.  If you will be at the Florida show, remember, I will be speaking on web3 and how it is impacting the restaurant industry.  Lots of fun, cool, interactive elements to this presentation so it would be worth your effort to come see it.  And of course, the MURTEC Executive summit will be amazing, as it always is.  There is always great content at that show and, from what I have seen, this one will be no exception.  Please reach out to me later this week to tell me how it was and what your biggest takeaways were.

As promised, today’s show is a continuation of last week’s show where I recorded this episode live at the Menches Bros. NFT minting party.  I won’t go into detail about that as you can go back and listen to the previous episode.

The Metaversal and Menches Team

On site, however, a huge group from Metaversal, the company behind bringing this project to fruition, was onsite to help support the Menches Bros. team.   While I was there, I was able to sit down some of the Metaversal team members including the CEO, Yosi Hasson, the creative director, Sam Brukhman and the project manager, Erin Thompson.

Combined, this gave me the opportunity to learn more about the scope of what they do, what their vision is and how they are looking to help other small restaurant brands.

They are new to our industries so this will be a great opportunity for you to get to know more about Metaversal, what they do and how they do it.  Enjoy!

Next Week’s Show

Next week will I promise to give you a break from web3 conversations and will be talking with Bob Gibson whom many of you know as the previous chief revenue officer of Jolt and spending countless years over at Micros and Oracle.  I always wanted to bring over somebody from the vendor side to talk about operator and vendor relationships, what that looks like from both sides and how to make it more of a partnership in terms of both longevity and development and growth.   Being on the operator side, I always had my own viewpoint on how this relationship should look but I can’t wait to see what a vendor thinks about us.  By the way, did I mention that he is the new President and COO of our company, ConStrata Consulting
