Welcome to The Tech Chef! This is your host, Skip Kimpel and we are all here again today to explore the world of restaurant, hotel and hospitality technology. I hope you have had a great week. I am actually on the road at the New England Food Show today and will hopefully have some fun things to share with you from my time up here in Boston.
We had a last minute change in our guest for this weeks show but I promise you, you are going to LOVE this one! Our regularly scheduled guest will be on the show for a few weeks, don’t worry. Sherri Landry from CEC Entertainment will be worth the wait.
Today, however is a special treat as Tim Tang joins The Tech Chef for a fireside chat. With a background in both engineering and human/organizational studies, Tim Tang has degrees on both sides of his brain. With over 20 years of professional experience in developing enterprise solutions, Tang is keenly interested in the intersection of technology and humanity. As a director at Hughes, Tang studies various enterprise markets (e.g. Restaurant, Retail, and Banking/Finance) to anticipate trends that will enable enterprise customers to fully unlock the business value of technology.
He has such insight on our industry. I always enjoy the time I get to spend with Tim and his intriguing questions. I don’t think his mind ever stops!
