Signifi Solutions Inc. has announced its QuickTunes and QuickMobile self-service entertainment kiosks. The two new offerings run on the same platform as the company’s QuickPix photo solution.
QuickPix 6.2, released last year, allows full functionality to print instant photos or save to CD, with features such as auto-correct, borders, calendars and overlays. A customer can order and instantly print all photos in one step.
QuickTunes is a self-service music application that allows users to create and burn their own CDs or download to their digital MP3 players. The intuitive interface guides the user along with recommendations based on their selections.
QuickMobile, the latest in the “Q” suite, connects users with an extensive database of ring tones, screensavers, games, video and more. Using SMS messaging or Bluetooth, the content can easily be sent to any mobile device. Each of these applications can each be used on their own, or together in one footprint.
This solution was presented at the recent PMA show in Orlando, Fla., and won first prize in the People’s Choice Award.

The upcoming PGA Tour Wachovia Championship at Quail Hollow Club, Charlotte, N.C. will feature 30 interactive kiosks that let visitors locate players, find course maps and get constant scoring updates through an up-to-the-minute, touchscreen system.
“If you need to find out (what hole) Tiger Woods is on, you push a button and there it is,” said Kym Hougham, tournament director for Wachovia. “We think it will make things much easier for fans who aren’t sure how to navigate the course or find the players they want to see.”
